Fourth of July

When we arrived home from Florida, Jenna's Aunt Bridget had sent her an adorable 4th of July dress. So that inspired me to really doll her up for the holiday. We bought blue nail polish and painted both her and my toenails like this:
And we also bought beads to make some fun, patriotic bracelets for both of us.
Here's how she looked in the full ensemble:

Joshua also donned a patriotic outfit, but stayed true to his laid back demeanor:

We enjoyed a great service at church, then headed home to eat hamburgers, baked beans, and corn on the cob. Later, we went to the playground followed by fro-yo at Menchie's--our favorite yogurt spot. Randy and I both got Lemon Tart and Raspberry Pomegranate Sorbet, topped with gummy bears, which was a very refreshing combination.
Jenna, of course, chose a chocolate flavor and made sure she finished every last drop of it!
Joshua was just along for the ride.

We're all so thankful to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave!
