November

In a way November seemed like it flew by, but we did manage to fill it with lots of fun family memories.  Here's a few highlights.

Joshua's Box
Joshua discovered my coupon caddy (which I never seem to have the time to use) and has claimed it as his own.  Whenever he's pretending to go bye-bye, he grabs his "box" to take with him.

Lee Reunion
The 45th reunion for the sorority I was in while at Lee was held during the annual homecoming celebration.  I decided to make the hour drive to Cleveland and visit old friends and see how the campus had changed.  It was a short trip, but it was fun to show the kids where I went to college, and start giving them ideas of where they too can go!  : )

This was the on-campus apartment complex I lived in for my Sophomore-Senior years.  What fun times were had in this building.  I wanted to go in to show Jenna where I used to live, but the doors were locked and only badge access was allowed.  That's just another sign of how our world has changed in the past 12 years since I graduated.

It was a beautiful fall day.  Again, so many memories flooded through my mind while on campus.  What a great 4 years I spent there.  Notice the gorgeous new chapel steeple in the background.

Here's an up-close shot of the new chapel.  Maybe next time, I'll go inside.  It looks beautiful from the pictures I've seen.

We bought a souvenir for Jenna--a cute little plush dog that says "I love Lee" on it.  It will go well in her dorm room in 13 years, don't you think?

My futile attempt at a picture of the two kiddos together.  No smiles there!

Playground Visit
One warm fall day, we took the kids to a local playground, and they had a blast swinging!

Interactions with Yoda
Joshua really loves Yoda, who is sometimes allowed to come up from the basement to the main floor of the house.  He thought those ears were a perfect spot to put his stacking rings.  Very creative.  He also loves to give him kisses--and pick his nose too (typical boy).

Dollywood at Christmas
We headed up to Dollywood a few weekends ago to be sure we saw all of the Christmas lights.  We had a great time enjoying the mild weather, fun rides and Christmas parade.
