Jenna's birthday party was a huge success! She had 6 of her best friends from school join her at a local ballet studio for a 1 hour private dance lesson then food, cake and presents. What more could a 5 year old princess ask for? The teacher was very patient with the over-excited girls, and even with the little brother who kept joining in the dances and distributing tutus.
After the dancing, the girls were definitely ready for some food and drink! Jenna's menu included pink lemonade, pigs-in-a-blanket, cheese puffs, chex mix, and potato chips. For dessert, she wanted both cupcakes and a cake--to make sure her friends liked the flavor. The cake was chocolate, the cupcakes were either chocolate or funfetti. We tried to make the icing colors to match the colors in Tangled, the theme of the party, but the purple color darkened to look more brown. They were still cute though. Thanks to Randy, Mom, and Dad, we were able to pull all of the food and decorations together for a great celebration!
Joshua sat in the middle of all the girls and had a blast!
Daddy was able to find a "Tangled" balloon for Jenna. She was too excited!
Here's the crew of girls. What a fun day it was!
Jenna and her two best friends. So sweet!
We are so blessed to have such a beautiful, caring, giving, creative, and loving daughter!
