Dollywood

My employer held the annual Associate Appreciation Day at Dollywood this year. It was a beautiful day and the tulips (my favorite flower) were in full bloom.

It had been almost 3 years since we'd been to Dollywood, so Jenna had grown quite a bit!


Jenna’s two favorite rides were the flying elephants and the lumberjack lifts.


I thought this was a cute picture of Daddy and Jenna waiting in line for the Veggie Tales roller coaster.

Joshua’s favorite was the water area--the next best thing to a bath!


Jenna loved it too. She had been complaining earlier because she'd been splashed with water, but suddenly, she was loving running through it!

Randy enjoyed the Barnstormer--a new thrill ride that opened an our early for Associate Appreciation Day attendees to ride before everyone else that day. It didn't appeal to me; I opted to just take pictures!


We had so much fun that at the end of the day we converted our tickets to season passes. I enjoyed riding the elephants with Jenna, but am looking forward to going back with Randy (sans kids) and riding some of the coasters--the thought of riding them alone doesn’t excite me though!
