Joshua is doing very well in his growth. He had his 3-week check last Thursday, and he'd gained 1 pound since his visit 8 day before! The doctor was very happy with his progress! Here are his 3-week stats:
- Weight: 9 pounds, 10 ounces (64th percentile)
- Length: 21.25 inches (59th percentile)
- Head Circumference: 38 cm (60th percentile)
His stats from his first pediatrician appointment (at 4 days old) were as follows:
- Weight: 8 pounds, 4.5 ounces (58th percentile)
- Length: 21 inches (82nd percentile)
- Head Circumference: 36.8 cm (63rd percentile)
He's still a very good, laid-back baby. Pretty much the only time he cries is when he's hungry. He eats a lot at each feeding but isn't eating as frequently, which is good. He's also spending more time awake, looking around and learning about his surroundings. Jenna is still working hard to train him to be a heavy sleeper by running and playing all around him while he sleeps. Thankfully, he doesn't seem to mind! He's also starting to smile some, which is so much fun to see. Here's a picture we caught of him last week:
