Llama Llama

Last Friday, I happened to see that our local library was hosting a live performance of Llama Llama Red Pajama, one of Jenna's favorite series of books. So I picked her up early from school and surprised her with the event.

The room was packed, so she could barely see, but she still loved it.

They performed both the Red Pajama book referenced above and Llama Llama Mad at Mama. Jenna has both of these books, so it will really make them come alive when she reads them in the future. This was during the curtain call; notice the girl dressed in all black and read on.

From Jenna's perspective, she was the Mama (naturally because she's holding Llama Llama). I don't think she even noticed the true Mama. One of her favorite parts of the skits was when Llama Llama and his Mama were shopping at the Shop-A-Rama. Mama Llama was pushing a cart with Llama Llama (and the girl in black) in it. Jenna thought the Mama was in the cart with Llama Llama, and she thought that was so funny. It's interesting when you look at things from a child's perspective, particularly a toddler!

Before we left, she had to get a picture in front of Llama Llama's bed!
