San Diego

At the end of January, I was given the opportunity to go to San Diego for some work meetings.  We were able to get great deals on the flight and the hotel and didn't have to worry about bad weather in the middle of winter.  (Of course, this year, there wasn't much bad winter weather to speak of--it's been so mild!)  Anyway, I've only been there once and thought it just as beautiful as I'd remembered.
This was the view out my hotel room.

These trees were gorgeous

Lots of beautiful flowers in bloom

This was one of the hallways within the hotel site

At the hotel--the weather was beautiful!

These two shots were of the Unconditional Surrender statue near the
USS Midway Aircraft Museum.  It's a 25 foot statue replicating the famous
1945 kiss in Times Square.  It looked beautiful against the scenery!
We all enjoyed a fabulous group dinner at The Fish Market after capturing this landmark.

We ate dinner here our last night -- San Diego Pier Cafe in Seaport Village.  Delicious!
