Our Tennessee Christmas

One week before Christmas, Santa came to visit us in TN.  We knew we wouldn't be home for Christmas, so I told Jenna that I'd emailed him to see if he could stop by early.  I didn't promise much--he would come if he could--but encouraged her to go to sleep quickly just in case he was able to make it.  She wrote him a note, put some cookies and vitamins on a plate, and quickly went to sleep.  When she woke up the next morning, she was so excited when she saw he had made it to our house!  Joshua was a little too young this year to get into Santa, but I'm sure he's going to understand much more next year.
This is what the kids left for Santa:  a letter, cookies and milk,
and their Christmas picture (so he'd know who they were).

"F(rom) Jenna (and) Joshua
Dear Santa
Thank you."

Santa's personalized cup:  "SANTA ♥"

"Christmas" morning
Yoda was even in the Christmas Spirit.
Joshua enjoyed playing with finger puppets.
Joshua was super-excited when he opened his first present:
a toy phone.  It took him quite a while to open anything
else since he couldn't stop playing with it!

Jenna was so excited about her pink innotab!
The kids modeling their new pajamas after their bath!
This little tree was perfect to hold all the kids ornaments;
I love the handprint ones the most!
