Mountain Getaway

Earlier this month, Randy and I were able to take a little vacation to the mountains (sans kids, thanks to Mom & Dad). We went to The Waynesville Inn in North Carolina and really enjoyed the cute small town nestled in the North Carolina mountains.




We spent most of Saturday hiking and enjoying the beautiful fall scenery of the area. Here's some pictures we took at Graveyard Fields and the Blue Ridge Parkway.















Although it was nice to have uninterrupted meals and conversations, we did miss the kiddos and were excited to see them. They had a blast with Mimi and Poppa though!

We ate lunch at Five Guys before Mom & Dad headed home, and Joshua surprised us with how much he liked the cajun fries. He'll definitely be ready for some spicy food the next time we visit Louisiana!
