He's changing so much each day. His vocabulary is increasing (in spite of his difficulty in getting a word in edge wise with Jenna!) He's been saying mama and dada for a while. He now says Jenna ("nenna"), bath, ball, more, dog, thank you ("na nu"), and is adding more each day.
One day a few weeks ago, he woke up with quite the bed head. Poor kid.
He's also learned how to climb up on chairs and the couch. It makes me nervous as can be--that he's going to fall off and crack open his head--but he does have good balance and maneuverability. He's a very athletic kid. And look at how good his hair looks when he doesn't have bed head. Pretty blonde boy!
He still loves to make sure he gets really into his food during dinner to ensure a bath. This night he went a bit overboard. Come on...did he really have to finger his spaghetti sauce through his hair?
After church one day, Joshua continued his nap for several hours on the couch. I couldn't get over how long he looked laying there!
This isn't a very clear picture, but I love Joshua's expression. We were at Wasabi Japanese Restaurant, and Joshua was enjoying all of the entertainment.
This weekend, Joshua was too wound up to take a nap in the afternoon. So when it came time for dinner, he couldn't fight his exhaustion any longer. Maybe he'll remember this next time he doesn't want to take a nap. Doubt it.
