My Birthday

My birthday fell on a Saturday this year, so I didn't need to take a vacation day like I have for the past several years. One of Jenna's friends had a birthday party at a jumping place the morning of my birthday, so we went there and all had a great time. Jenna asked me if I was having a jumping party for my birthday, or if it would be at home. I told her at home, but being at her friend's party almost made it feel like it was for my special day too!



After doing a little shopping, taking a nap at home, and eating dinner, we headed to Menchie's for some frozen yogurt. I usually share a bowl of yogurt with Jenna, but this time I got my very own. It was nice not having to eat so fast to be sure to get my portion. The kid loves yogurt and gives me a run for my money if I don't pay attention! My custom creation of yogurt is shown below:

• pumpkin with candy corn topping
• peanut butter with reece's cup
• mango tango sorbet with gummy bears
• cake batter with graham cracker crumbs
  

Yum, yum, yum!

Jenna finished her yogurt then headed over to the chalkboard to enjoy some creative time!

We then headed home and watched a movie--just Randy and I for a change! It was a great birthday and the next day continued the fun!
